We send reminders before and after the due date. If the renewal is still unpaid 5 days after the due date, the licence is suspended and the server runs as the free edition from its next check: accounts are still detected and listed, but nothing is suspended or removed, and every account's lifecycle is paused where it is.
Paying the invoice reactivates the licence automatically; press Check now in the plugin to unlock it straight away. Paused accounts then resume, at most 20 suspensions or removals per scan, so customers aren't all suspended at once.
