Inactive Account Manager (IAM4Hosts) is a plugin for cPanel & WHM, Plesk (Linux and Windows) and DirectAdmin. It finds hosting accounts whose domains no longer point at your server for either websites or email, usually because the customer moved to another host or let the domain lapse, and retires them in stages.
Each inactive account moves through four phases, counted from the day it is first detected:
- Detected (day 0): it appears in the list with the reason. Nothing else changes.
- Notified (default day 7): the reseller who owns it gets one email.
- Suspended (default day 30): the account is suspended through the control panel. Fully reversible.
- Removed (default day 60): DNS is checked one last time. If it still points elsewhere, the account is removed.
You can Keep any account with one click and it is never touched again. Every step is written to the Activity Log.
